Suffolk Master Gardeners are planning 2025 programming and are excited about a new partnership! With the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore, we’re holding a series of classes about growing a kitchen garden at the Franklin Foodbank, which services Suffolk.
Classes are free, open to all, and are planned to help new home gardeners grow their own vegetables, herbs, and fruit, whether in ground, in containers, or in raised beds. Planned topics are on the flier, and we’ll add Facebook events soon so you can add them to your calendar.
If you have a passion for growing edibles, we want you as a Virginia Cooperative Extension-City of Suffolk VCE Master Gardener! Subscribe to our email list to learn about our next training in late summer/early fall 2025 at bit.ly/suffolklist. We’re excited to welcome more volunteers to our unit of the Virginia Cooperative Extension Master Gardener Program.
